Draw outside the lines with Crayola® Lesson Plans
March 17, 2009
Crayons, a staple of childhood! No, I don’t mean the time you experimented with with them as food items by ingesting one. I’m talking about their flexibility, ubiquity, and variety that make them useful not just for art. Crayola Lesson Plans has lots of great ideas for creating projects that involve reading, writing, and other stuff.
I’ll share two of my favorites. Can Do Lesson Plan has students visualize a goal and draw a picture of it, so they have something to motivate them as they go along. A Jewel of a Book Lesson Plan is a twist on book reports that has kids creating an arm, with a bracelet and charms listing elements from a story they’ve read.
So recycle those old coloring sheets, and give kids lessons from Crayola Lesson Plans instead. -ALICE MERCER
