Jayme Linton is instructional technology facilitator and staff development coordinator for Newton-Conover City Schools in Catawba County, North Carolina. She taught elementary school (1st, 2nd, and 4th grades) for six years and loved every minute of it. After leaving the classroom, she worked as an instructional coach for two-and-a-half years before moving into her current position.

Jayme is a Catamount at heart, having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University. She later received a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Appalachian State University and is currently working toward a PhD in Teacher Education and Development from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Jayme’s professional interests include technology integration in the classroom and staff development. She is a Glogster EDU Ambassador (check out her Glogs below). When she’s not working or going to school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Angelos, daughter, Annie, and soon-to-be son, Deacon (due this spring).
