A Penn State alum and former Air Force linguist, Nick Yingling is an honors graduate of the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA and is fully proficient in Korean. (He is such a language nerd, in fact, that he will bore you to tears by explaining his reasoning for using the words “fully proficient” as opposed to simply saying “fluent.”) He also acted as his flight’s training facilitator, where he counseled fellow Airmen in achieving institutional and organizational educational goals.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys reading, music, and movies. One should note, however, that he approaches each of these things with a geek’s passion. He is also a fount of fascinating trivia, historical oddities, and complete world knowledge. Nick Yingling is available to answer questions on any subject for your publication, broadcast, podcast, website, family reunion, or corporate retreat, and in fact, he is apparently desperate to do so.
